Reservations

We respectfully remind you that verbal, written or electronic reservations constitute a legal binding contract.

Deposit/Credit card

A deposit or credit card details are required to in all instances to secure an accommodation booking.

Cancellation Policy

In the event you wish or need to cancel your booking with us, you will need to do this at least 48 hours before you are due to check in.

We reserve the right to charge one nights’ accommodation to the credit card number supplied if you fail to meet this requirement.

Payment

Full and final settlement of your account shall be made by cash, credit or debit card upon check-out.

If you fail to settle your bill we reserve the right to charge the unpaid amount to the credit card number supplied.

In the event that your card declines we will contact you requesting payment.

Be aware: Any late payments may incur fees and collection costs.

Guests

All guests to your room must be over 18 years of age or accompanied by their legal guardian/s. Some exceptions apply.

However, you will be held fully accountable and liable for their behavior and any damages caused.

As the Garden Hotel is in a residential area, all guests must vacate the complex by 11pm.

Children/Pets

We welcome families and children from infancy are permitted to stay.

We wish to apologize and inform in advance for the fact that we do not allow pets in the units at any time. Some exceptions apply.

Damage

We reserve the right to charge to replace, repair or professionally clean all items concerned and you will be financially liable to cover these costs if required.

Losing your key will result in a charge for $20 being added to your account or sent to you at a later date.

Arrival/Departure times

For the convenience of the incoming guests, we require the units to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Late departure times may be possible upon request, but we cannot guarantee this and a late fee of $15 will be added to your account.

Earliest arrival time is 2pm (except where prior arrangement made).

Guests wishing to check in early will have a $15 charge added to their account.

Smoking policy

All rooms are non-smoking- NO EXCEPTIONS.

Smoking is permitted on the balcony’s of Deluxe hotel block and on paved areas around complex.

Parking

There is ample parking around our accommodation blocks.

Use of these parks is restricted to Inhouse guests only.

General

It is forbidden to use or store any kind of drugs or firearms at the Garden Hotel.

We are entitled to inform the New Zealand Police in case of suspicion or violation to this law.
